CoastalCare is a local political subdivision of the North Carolina state government, chartered by NC General Statute 122c and governed by an independent Board of Directors. The agency assures a comprehensive array of mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services to citizens of Brunswick, Carteret, New Hanover, Onslow and Pender Counties through a local network of providers, agencies and affiliates. The agency functions include governance, finance, information management, access to care, utilization management, provider network development and management, quality management and customer service. In addition, the agency participates in community inter-agency networks and maintains effective relationships with members, families, local advocacy groups, state leadership, elected officials and community leadership.

Applicants applying for a position that requires a college degree must submit a copy of their college transcript along with the application. This same requirement applies to positions that may require a professional license.

Employment Security Commission Office. If unable to obtain an application per the above, you can send a request to Janice Pearson and one will be mailed to you.
