Peer Support Specialist and Wellness Recovery Action Plan trainings offered at SEC
Southeastern Center will host a Peer Support Specialist training Wednesday, March 7 through Sunday, March 11, 2012.  A Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) class will be offered April 11 through April 13, 2012.  To register, contact Customer Services at 910-332-6888.  Click the images below for more information.

Partnership recognized with Program of Excellence Award
NC CouncilSoutheastern Center and service provider Coastal Horizons Center were recently recognized with a Program of Excellence Award for Prevention, Outreach and Wellness for their substance abuse prevention services. The award was presented by the NC Council of Community Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Programs.  Read more. 

Medicaid Waiver Information

On October 31, 2011 The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services notified Onslow-Carteret Behavioral Healthcare Services (OCBHS) and Southeastern Center for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services (SEC) of their selection to jointly become a Medicaid 1915 (b) (c) Waiver site, effective January 1, 2013. This followed an extensive application process, site visit and staff and consumer interviews. Read more
